Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer at the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge. We have an active and well-trained volunteer organization and look forward to having you join our team! We are currently recruiting volunteers to help with animal care, special events, conducting education programs, building enclosures, rescuing injured wildlife, and much more.
Attending the volunteer orientation is mandatory to becoming a volunteer at the Refuge. At this meeting, you will learn how the Refuge operates and about your opportunities as a volunteer. You will receive important information regarding policies and protocols, take a tour of the Refuge to see where you will be working, and receive your volunteer t-shirt. There is a $25.00 volunteer fee which covers your volunteer manual and other documents and t-shirt and you may pay the fee at this class. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and checks.
Rather than selling that car, truck, boat, or WaveRunner that needs to go…please consider making a fully tax-deductible donation of the vehicle to the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge to support us in our mission.
Stock donations, planned gifts and endowments are an excellent way to make meaningful donations to your Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge, and can also have positive tax-savings advantages for the donor. Please talk with ECWR Director at 850 650-1880 for further information on how you can help build your Wildlife Refuge’s future and leave a lasting legacy!
